  • If the headset runs out of the battery, can I still use it while charging ?
    Yes, it can be used while charging. When you hear the low battery alarm while gaming, you can plug in the type-c charging cable to continue playing, or use the 3.5mm audio cable to make a wired connection (just insert the 3.5mm audio cable, the headset will automatically turn off, and microphone will work in wired mode).
  • My headset works fine, but the microphone doesn't work.
    This headset has a noise-cancelling microphone, and the microphone will not work if it is not plugged in tightly. Please insert the microphone tightly according to the directions shown above. Please double check the microphone is ON by pressing the MUTE button on the back of the left side of the headset. If you hear “MIC ON,” the microphone is turned on. If you hear “MIC OFF,” the microphone is turned off. Make sure “microphone access for this device” is enabled in the settings on your device. 
  • How many ways to connect the headset and which devices can be supported?
    Our Captain 300 is a 3-in-1 mode gaming headset. 2.4GHz USB Dongle Connection. Can be widely matched with various game terminals, such as PlayStation 4/5/pro/Slim, Gaming Consoles, Switch, Nintendo Switch (invalid microphone), PC, Mac, Laptop, Desktop(except ALL XBOX SERIES). Bluetooth 5.2 Connection. Switch the headset to Bluetooth mode, search on your mobile device to find “Captian 300” and connect. Can be widely used in mobile devices. Such as Phone, Pad, Tablet, other Bluetooth Enable Devices(except ALL XBOX SERIES). 3.5mm Wired Connection. Use the 3.5mm cable to connect your device and headset. (Note: the device needs to have a 4-pin 3.5mm audio jack, otherwise the microphone can not be used. For example: if your PC computer has two separate 3.5mm jacks for audio output and microphone, then you need a splitter adapter cable to connect the headset and the computer.) Widely adapted to most terminal equipment with 3.5mm interface.
  • When I connect through 2.4GHz USB Dongle, there is static noise or poor sound quality coming from the headset.
    The noise problem can be caused due to damaged USB ports from the devices. Try using a different USB port on your devices to check whether the issues still exists. If yes, the entire USB transmitter needs to be replaced. The static noise may be that the USB transmitter is too far away from your headset and the connection is unstable. Please ensure that the distance does not exceed 10 meters. When using the headset for the first time, try playing music at a normal volume for 5-10 minutes before you use to ensure the speaker driver of the headset are playing in the best condition.
  • What should I do if the headset cannot be connected to the USB transmitter?
    Our Captain 300 is a 3-in-1 mode gaming headset. (2.4GHz USB dongle + Bluetooth 5.2 + 3.5mm jack) If the headset is connected to a device using Bluetooth, when the headset is turned back on, it will automatically reconnect using Bluetooth. When this happens, press and hold the “Light Control” button for 3 seconds until you hear "Adapter Connection." This means the headset switched to 2.4G mode. You can then plug in the USB receiver for 2.4GHz connection. If the headset is switched to 2.4G mode and still cannot connect to the transmitter, press and hold the "Reset/Connect Button" while it was plugged in the devices for 3 seconds and then turn the headset back on for pairing.
  • My headset cannot connect to Bluetooth.
    Similar to the previous 2.4G connection problem, the headset may be in 2.4G mode. If this is the case, press and hold the “Light Control” button for 3 seconds until you hear "Bluetooth Connection." This indicates the headset switched to Bluetooth mode. Search for "Captain 300" in the Bluetooth settings on your device to connect. If the headset has switched to Bluetooth mode, but you can't find "Captain 300" in the Bluetooth settings on your device to pair, this may be you have connected the headset to other Bluetooth devices before you used and the headset automatically connects to the last Bluetooth device. In this case, find the last connected device, look for "Captan 300" in the Bluetooth settings, and click "Ignore this device".
